This policy explains how purchases work at The Rule — including one-time orders, subscriptions, recurring billing, and how to cancel. We've made every effort to make cancellation as simple as ordering. No phone calls. No retention specialists. No friction.
Cancel Anytime In One Click
Log into your account and click "Cancel Subscription," or email us at support@shoptherule.com. That's it. No hoops. No questions required.
Types of Purchases
The Rule offers two ways to buy:

You can choose either option at checkout. There is no obligation to subscribe, and you can switch between one-time and subscription purchases at any time.
How Subscriptions Work
When you sign up for a Subscribe & Save plan, you agree to the following terms:
Automatic Recurring Billing
By subscribing, you authorize Almora Brands LLC to automatically charge your selected payment method on the recurring schedule you choose (every 30 or 60 days, depending on the product and frequency you select).
Your subscription will continue automatically until you cancel. There is no minimum commitment, no contract length, and no cancellation fee.
Subscription Discount
Subscribers receive a 15% discount off the one-time purchase price on every recurring order. The discount applies for as long as your subscription remains active.
Delivery Frequency
You can choose how often you receive your order:
- Every 30 days — recommended for daily users (1 pouch supply)
- Every 60 days — recommended for Couple Pack subscribers (2-pouch supply)
You can change your delivery frequency at any time from your account dashboard.
Pre-Shipment Reminder
You will receive an email reminder 3 days before each scheduled shipment, giving you time to:
- Skip the upcoming order
- Modify the delivery date
- Update your shipping address
- Change product or quantity
- Pause or cancel your subscription
Important: Changes must be made at least 48 hours before your scheduled ship date. Once an order has entered fulfillment, it cannot be modified or canceled.
How to Cancel Your Subscription
Canceling is simple and immediate. You have two options:
Option 1: Cancel Through Your Account (Recommended)
- Log in to your account at shoptherule.com/account
- Click on "Manage Subscriptions"
- Select the subscription you want to cancel
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Confirm cancellation
Your cancellation is processed instantly. You will receive a confirmation email immediately.
Option 2: Cancel by Email
Email support@shoptherule.com with the subject line "Cancel Subscription" and include:
- The email address used to place your order
- Your order number (optional but helpful)
We will process your cancellation within 24 hours and send you a confirmation email.
No Hidden Steps. No Retention Tactics.
We don't believe in making cancellation harder than signup. There are no phone calls required, no "wait, let us offer you a discount" pop-ups, no surveys you must complete, and no specialists who must approve your request.
If you want to cancel, you can — instantly, no questions asked.
Skip, Pause, or Modify Without Canceling
If you're not ready to cancel but need a break or change, you have options:
Skip a Shipment
Going on vacation? Have enough pouches at home? Skip your next order from your account dashboard. Your subscription continues normally after the skipped shipment.
Pause Your Subscription
Pause for 30, 60, or 90 days without canceling. Your subscription automatically resumes at the end of the pause period.
Change Frequency
Switch between 30-day and 60-day delivery schedules anytime.
Update Address or Payment
Change your shipping address or update your payment method from your account dashboard before your next scheduled billing date.
Refunds on Subscription Orders
Your first subscription order is fully covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied, email us within 30 days of receiving your first order for a full refund. You don't need to return the product.
For subsequent subscription orders:
- Defective or damaged products: Eligible for replacement or refund
- Wrong product shipped: Eligible for replacement or refund
- Customer dissatisfaction after the first order: Not eligible for refund, but you can cancel anytime

Failed or Declined Payments
If we are unable to process your scheduled subscription payment due to an expired card, insufficient funds, or other payment issue:
- We will notify you by email immediately
- We will retry the payment up to 3 times over the following 7 days
- If all retry attempts fail, your subscription will be automatically paused
- You can update your payment method anytime to resume your subscription
You will not receive your next shipment until payment is successfully processed.
Price Changes
We reserve the right to adjust subscription prices in the future. If we change the price of your subscription, we will:
- Notify you by email at least 30 days before the new price takes effect
- Give you the opportunity to cancel before being charged the new price
- Continue your subscription at the new price only if you do not cancel
Cancellation Effects
When you cancel your subscription:
- No further charges will be made to your payment method
- You will not receive future shipments
- Any pending order already in fulfillment will still ship and be charged as scheduled
- You will retain access to your account and order history
- You can resubscribe anytime in the future
Cancellation does not retroactively refund prior shipments unless they qualify under our Return & Refund Policy.
Reactivating a Canceled Subscription
If you cancel and later decide to subscribe again, you can do so at any time:
- Visit any product page on shoptherule.com
- Select "Subscribe & Save" at checkout
- Complete your purchase to start a new subscription
Reactivated subscriptions follow the same terms as new subscriptions.
State-Specific Disclosures
The following disclosures are provided in compliance with state automatic renewal laws, including but not limited to:
- California Business and Professions Code §17600 et seq. (Automatic Renewal Law)
- New York General Business Law §527-a
- Illinois Automatic Contract Renewal Act
- Vermont Title 9 §2454a
- North Dakota Century Code §51-37-01 et seq.
California Residents
California residents may cancel their subscription at any time by emailing support@shoptherule.com or through their online account. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle until canceled. Cancellation requests received before the next billing date will prevent future charges. To the extent permitted by California Civil Code §1789.3, complaints regarding this policy may be referred to the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs.
Subscription Terms Acknowledgment
By signing up for a Subscribe & Save plan at The Rule, you acknowledge that:

Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, products, or legal requirements. For any material changes affecting active subscribers, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued participation in your subscription after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
